Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 10g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, clears Heat, cools the Blood, clears Liver Fire and relieves eye pain.
With Mu Dan Pi, cools the Blood and disperses Stasis, for Ying Stage Heat with epistaxis, hemoptysis, hemafecia, hematuria, menorrhagia and skin rashes and Blood Stasis disorders.
With Mu Dan Pi and Sheng Di Huang, for Heat entering the Xue Stage causing maculae or hemorrhage.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 6g Clears Heat, drains Dampness and stops bleeding.
With Huang Qin, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Caulis Akebiae Mu Tong 5g Promotes urination and unblocks painful urinary dysfunction.
With Dang Gui, promotes the circulation of Blood.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 10g Drains Fire, relieves Fire toxicity, drains Dampness and drains Deficiency Heat.
With Zhi Zi, resolves constraint and directs Qi downward for clearing Heat and Fire from the Liver channel.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 10g Drains Fire, resolves Dampness, detoxifies, cools the Blood, stops bleeding and calms ascending Liver Yang.
With Huang Lian, Huang Bai and Zhi Zi, for lesions and sores with redness, swelling and pain.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 10g Clears Heat, cools the Blood and nourishes Yin.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 6g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability in the San Jiao, resolves Dampness, cools the Blood, relieves toxicity and stops bleeding by astringing.
With Mu Dan Pi, resolves Qi Level Stagnation leading to Heat and Heat in the Blood.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 10g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and clears Liver Fire.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Ying and Xue Stage Heat with a high fever, scarlet tongue, thirst, a rash all over the body, epistaxis and hemoptysis, residual Warm pathogen which has injured the Yin and Kidney Yin Deficiency with steaming bones.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 6g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
With Mu Dan Pi, Sheng Di Huang, Chi Shao and Huang Qin, for Blood Deficiency with Deficiency Heat with hot flashes, irritability and flushed cheeks.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3g Moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
